Corsa Tyre Life

Question:

What sort of kilometres can I expect to get out of a set of tyres on a Corsa. I’m running the stock size 205/45 R16’s on my SRi. I realise this is pretty rare so I’m interested in what anybody is getting out of a set of tyres on a Corsa. I pretty much drive like a granny too.

I going to get a set of Michelin Pilot Preceda (The only Michelins that come in 205/45 R16). Any one else running the Precedas?

Could I get away with 205/50 R16’s? and just out of curiosity what was the stock tyre size on the pre facelift Corsa SRi’s?

Answer:

Ive got Michelin Pilot Preceda PP2′s on mine (205/40ZR17) and ive just ticked over 30,000k’s on them. I love the tyres and will be replacing with the same when they wear out.

Ive done some hard runs and i love roundabouts so im certainly not gentle on them. Im hoping for maybe another 10,000 out of them, by then they will be dead. I would imagine you could get 50+ if you drive ‘like a granny’ lol.
