Total Closure help
Question:
Just wondering if we have any XC Barinas on here with Clints’ Total Closure unit?
used the following wires
Brown = black
Black/Blue = (Blue on TC unit)
Red/Yellow = (red on TC unit)
installed it inside the drivers door.
here are the symptoms:
car only deadlocks every 3rd or 4th go
will always deadlock when windows are up
car locks itself
windows wind themself up if you start car and windows are down
I tried out chris’ unit in my car and does the same thing, clint guarantees its those wires i should use.
Answer:
I took out the unit again used a multimeter to double check all wires were correct and soldered it back on. For some reason it seems to work 95% of the time now. Some times when the car doesnt dead lock its as simple as unlocking it again then re-locking it. Must say its a very handy feature to have, walking away from your car with the windows automatically winding themselve up.
